Nature of the service and the RDG line

This business is not a law firm and provides no legal service within the meaning of the German Legal Services Act (RDG); nor is it a tax advisory practice, and it gives no assistance in tax matters within the meaning of the German Tax Advisory Act (StBerG). The work provided is the gathering and ordering of papers, sequencing translation and apostille, running applications under power of attorney in the accelerated skilled worker procedure under §81a, otherwise preparing and following applications, following the correspondence and accompanying you to appointments. No activity is carried out that requires a legal examination of an individual case.

Legal assessment of an individual case belongs to lawyers, and tax classification to tax advisers. Where such a need arises, the file is referred to an independent lawyer or tax adviser; the engagement is then formed directly between you and that professional, and what we take on is communication and the order of the file alone.

On outcomes

Visa and residence applications are decided by the competent authority alone. Undertakings on outcome or time are not given by us. What is taken on is the complete building of the file and the careful running of the procedure.

Currency of the content

The information on this site is general and follows the law as at the date named on each page. Thresholds, fees and procedures change continually; the values apply as at the stated date. Binding information comes from the competent office alone.

The line between administrative support and legal service

Preparing papers, putting translation and apostille in the right order, filing the application with the authority, following the correspondence and coming along to appointments: that is administrative support. Interpreting which paragraph fits your situation, assessing a refusal in legal terms or choosing the route of appeal is not; those belong to lawyers.
